I've always known I wanted to be a teacher. I started martial arts when I was 7 years old, aspiring to be Chuck Norris when I grew up, being a massive fan of Walker Texas Ranger. I knew I wanted to have my own gym. As I grew, I found ways to teach anywhere I could. I worked with kids in my karate dojo while training for my black belt, working with kids as young as 2 years old. When I switched over to kickboxing and MMA, I would teach kickboxing class to kids and adults, often hosting women's fitness or self-defense classes.

I competed throughout my teens and 20s in countless tournaments and competitions in Texas and across the country, but I always knew my passion was teaching. For me, martial arts was a great form of cardio, self-defense, finding a community, and taking care of my mental health, and I wanted to share that with everyone who'd listen.

During my adult years, teaching kickboxing and martial arts never paid the bills, so I worked in restaurants for 10+ years. I started as a server, and did every position available including manager, with my favorite position being a bartender. I enjoyed connecting emotionally with people, and had a blast creating cocktails and memories for those around me. I also met my wonderful husband in restaurants, who was also my inspiration to hang up my apron and put the restaurant industry behind me to pursue my passion.

Fast-forward to now, I have been a certified personal trainer since 2023, and have worked in a public gym, as well as taught water aerobics at senior living facilities. I have found my passion is with people of all ages trying to make healthier life choices, like my Silver Strength Class here, who train with me 5 days a week to help improve their strength, balance, and endurance.

If I can part with one last thing about me, here it is; Whether you are joining me to lose weight, learn how to improve your nutrition, or how to defend yourself, I will help you accomplish your goals. I customize all programs to your specific goals, and give you tools that you will be able to use for the rest of your life.

I will be posting every week about different topics, so stay tuned to learn something new, or start a conversation where we can discuss nutrition and fitness. See y'all soon!
